I have flagged the very explicit ‘Lick’ cross stitch patterns before. Pornography is not allowed on Etsy, why would it be allowed if it is in cross stitch? Even if it has ‘mature’ in the title, an erect penis, with the veins clearly visible, and a set of lips sucking is clearly porn.

I mentioned it on the forums once, when she was posting something about her items, and got laughed at for being a prude. I’m sorry, if you found a picture like that under your son’s bed, you’d consider it a dirty magazine, right? Just because it’s cross stitch does not make it less pornographic.

I’m all in favor of art sites not censoring artistic nudes. But Etsy can hardly be considered an art site, and the admins have obviously decided that if it somehow involves crafting or vintage, then it must be artistic rather than porn.
