French Shoe Stretchers

French Shoe Stretchers- Chippy Aqua Paint. $38.00.
show stretchers
A unique vintage find in amazing shades or turquoise. Two sets of painted wood and metal shoe stretchers from France. I love them in a vase, scattered on a coffee table as art or hanging on the wall.

Who wants a bouquet of shoe stretchers?

“I love them in a vase, scattered on a coffee table as art or hanging on the wall. ”

“and that’s why I’m selling them, because *I* love them so much! And my classy “Mason” vase is availiable too, for just $28.50. I love it too!”

Actually, they are interesting as sculptural objects, but $38? Please.

They are kind of interesting to look at……………much better than the faux chunk of skin with hair! LOL!

They’d sell for sure if they were going for $12. The shipping is going to be $$ for those…… and bad photo. There are so many better ways to glam up something like this besides shlepping them into a mason jar.

I love some glass jars I saw in her shop: Martha Stewart Every Day from K-Mart, circa 2001. And maybe Martha’s catalog as well, same timeframe. These came with instructions on how to paint/faux antique the lids (i have a few in various sizes for my baking ingredients, and I kept my lids shiny and new). Vintage on Etsy? CAVEAT EMPTOR.

I got a set of glasses just like hers at Crate & Barrel. And why do so many people think that Ball jars are automatically vintage?
