This is my favorite blog. I feel less lonely knowing there are others who find this stuff so WTF, and SO bush league.
By the way, I tried googling “bush league” because it sounds in my head like a movie quote, with a Latino accent. Anyone know the movie or even know what I am talking about?

I don’t know much about Pokemon, or copyright law, but I have a feeling that this is somehow illegal, as well as confusing. Also, the stitching around the mouth looks a little wierd. I want to think this is cute, but I can’t quite.

I’ve always wondered about the copyright implications too. I have some patterns I would like to list but I don’t incase it is illegal. Most people think it is probably worth the risk because if they were found out, they’d probably receive nothing more than a snotty letter and a slap on the wrist.

In reference to “Bush League”-it’s a sports reference…when baseball teams were from obscure parts of obscure (read: agricultural) States were referred to as” Bush League” it wa a variation on “the sticks” the boonies, or one-horse towns- still used, as here, for something maudlin, trite or banal or in this case very close to copyright infringement, but then many Etsy sites are all about copying whatever anime or cartoon character is trendy and they seem to get away with it…
