Dog Sling

Fairly Fabulous Dog Carrier Sling. $55.00.
dog sling
Got a hot date with the farmer’s market or another outdoor adventure? As talented as we dog owners are, sometimes we simply need the use of both our hands when we’re out and about. And as talented as I am, I came up with a solution for us to be able to bring our pups along and take care of business hands-free!

This is disturbing. Has this dog-lover forgotten what a dog is?

Found on the FP.
Thanks to ElleJay for sending it in.

the only thing wrong here is that the dog does not look remotely comfortable.
    It looks constipated, poor thing.

not fond of the dog in a sling idea anyway. unless doggie is sick, and i dont wish to think about that:(

MORE FP nonsense. It def looks like she is going to nurse the dog. She should get a used baby carrier and strap the dog in it. It would be strange but not nearly as strange as this. I bet it started out as a baby carrier, bbut she realized it wouldn’t pass safety regulations. That’s at least better than the rhinestone pacifiers.

    • My thoughts exactly. Thought they’d do a baby sling, but later realized that there are actually Consumer Product Safety regulations that made them illegal. So dump them on idiot hipsters instead.

It’s a dog, for God’s sake! If you need both of your hands for shopping, leave the dog at home! I love my dogs, don’t get me wrong, and I do let them lay in my lap when sitting on the couch watching TV, but I’m not carrying them as if they are 3 month old HUMAN babies! Bet you THAT dog rules the roost!

This screams “I tried to put a real baby in it and it broke, so now I’m stuck with 50 of these and I’m looking for pathetic suckers to take them off my hands”. Actually, it doesn’t so much scream it as say it in a Jersey accent while snapping gum.

  6. I am so tired of idiot dog owners treating their pets like human children. Need to be hands free while out with your dog? TRY USING A LEASH LIKE A NORMAL PERSON. I saw a guy with his dog strapped to his chest in a Baby Bjorn. WTF??

Yeah, I had someone walk into my craft booth earlier this year with a Chihuahua in a Baby Bjorn, and it was dressed up in a hat and sunglasses…………I’m surprised it wasn’t wearing diapers, too!

  7. I don’t get why she doesn’t just put the dog in a purse like all the other people who for some reason won’t walk their dogs.

I think it might be stressful for a dog to see strangers at eye-to-eye level without having its feet on the ground.

  10. This is why so many little dogs are agressive. They are carried around by their owner either in a bag or in their arms (this sling is beyond words!) and think they are ‘big’, so they act ‘big’ and agressive towards other dogs. If you are a HUUUGE dog, almost the same size as a human, you won’t take no shit from anyone.
    *sigh*

If it’ll keep still in that sling then surely it’s not likely to tug on a lead so why not hook the lead on your wrist and voilĂ , 2 free hands!
Carrying a dog around like that is, to me, completely unjustifiable.

All it takes is just a little tug on that tube top and it’s DINNER TIME!

I hate seeing poor little dogs being dragged out and about by their owners. Just leave Muffy at home where she has her bed and her toys and no little kids pulling her tail. I blame Paris Hilton.

  17. Hey. Is there anyone out there that lives on a boat? Baby Bjorns work to help people and their small dogs get on and off the boat easily and to load groceries and equipment without worrying. Quit being so negative.
