Paper-doll dress – Size s/m – Eco friendly. $2,000.

Need a showstopping dress? Something truly original?
This sumptuous confection is designed and handmade by myself, tiinateaspoon, and is positively bursting with one-of-a-kind-ness!
The finest bridal fabric remnants are combined with quirky contrasts, all painstakingly sewn onto a stretch mesh base. Most of the fabrics in this dress were repurposed offcuts and bits from a bridalwear designer, adding to its ecofriendliness.
I’m not going to argue with fashion but I can think of a more eco friendly use for those scraps.
Found in the eco friendly GG.

The people who choose this stuff have got to be kidding. It’s not funny, when there are actual desigers of original work that is WEARABLE to choose from. I hate, hate hate to see stuff like this chosen for free promos: who buys this stuff? Kids playing dressup? Maybe that fits Etsy’s “playful” image?

I’ll argue with so-called fashion: this design will not flatter any body. I mean, there is probably a cute face hiding behind that mask along with a good figure buried under that rat’s nest of ruffles.
As for being ‘eco-friendly’, on Etsy that means taking something useful, beautiful, functional etc and using that as raw material for a project only a hipster would get.

Two grand for a buncha scraps sewn together? Of course it’s presented with JUST the colors that Etsy loves – dirt gray, parking lot gray, ashtray gray, and biege tinted gray – so the admins will love it.
PS What’s with the stupid mask.

In case you didn’t guess,
this one-of-a-kind-”dress”
Is really an overpriced,
one-of-a-kind-mess.
Just more bullshit being passed off with one of the most meaningless terms ever – ecofriendly.
I love the environment, but I’ll forgive you if you put this rag where it belongs – in the landfill.
Who cares?

No wonder she’s wearing a mask. Who’d want to be caught wearing that mess. Too bad Admins can’t choose any of the well designed and constructed clothing for the GG. There are some good designers on Etsy, but this isn’t one of them.

Well, I guess it’d come in handy if it’s a shotgun wedding and you need to hide a bump… As long as you have great legs…

Excuse me miss… you have a piece of toilet paper stuck to your – oh, nevermind.

It’s really amusing to read these ignorant comments.
“Two grand for a buncha scraps sewn together?” This designer earned a 1st class honors degree at London College of Fashion and thinks outside the box (that you all have no hope of crawling out of).
“Too bad Admins can’t choose any of the well designed and constructed clothing for the GG”
You’re horribly mistaken, and that’s why they are admins, and thankfully you’re not!

Just because it’s made of out the scraps of bridal gowns doesn’t make this a real dress.
This looks like that bridal shower game when the bridesmaids wrap the bride-to-be in toilet paper. Who knew they could have glued the mess together and sold it for $2,000?
