While beautiful, the red spider lily is considered an invasive and noxious weed in many states . Way to help out the environment Etsy! Hmmm wonder what lovely invasive corms seeds and tubers I can collect and sell for a profit?

Plants and food on Etsy…………why? How do they fall under handmade arts & crafts, vintage and supplies? BS!

perhaps is a vintage vagina from mars?
And wtf is an extra large bulf?

Yep, found in the Vintage Showcase. Seller pleaded ignorance. Not ignorant, just sleazy/.

I think I’d just confess it was deliberate rather than claim I was stupid enough to list a plant as vintage.

Most sellers who list their mistagged “vintage” in the vintage category truly do not understand the listing rules. One of out maybe ten are flagrant assholes who couldn’t care less if they break rules. Of course, chances of anyone actually looking downnnnn that showcase list to find the vintage showcase are pretty slim– most are either newbies. I wish that somebody would take the time to reduce that first “tag” to a choice of three and get it the fuck over with.

Hey, do you think you could mention to your readers about my website that allows users to promote their Etsy shops for free. I need members if I am going to keep things going. You can see my site here http://www.etsy-shops.com
Thanks

hi mike.
interesting site ..
pity it makes all the listed items seem like the etsy ‘brand’ rather than individual sellers work.
but hell, that’s the way etsy likes it. heh.

It’s a nice idea but did you read his blog? He boasts about reselling artist’s prints with a really high mark-up. I got 1250%, but it’s been a while since I’ve done percentages.

Sorry, I have higher standards than that.

Perhaps the bulbs are really old?

I’m an avid gardener. IF I were cross breeding strains of lily I could see this being listed on etsy. It’s a ton of work to get a cross breed lily to a stage where it’s a show stopper. One of the ladies here in town has 300 types of day lily, 25 or so she’s bred herself. Including a fantastic purple variety that I’d love to get my paws on.
I would say that gardening is a craft and it’s definitely working with your hands.
