Not Quite The Dog’s Bollocks

Rear Gear. Butt Covers for your Cat and Dog… $5.00.

Is your pet feeling left in the dirt because of his/her unsightly rear? I’ve got them covered… Rear Gear is handmade in Portland, OR and offers a cheerful solution to be-rid your favorite pet’s un-manicured back side.

I have many questions, but most importantly, what happens when it has to go?

Submitted by Louise, who would like to know if they’re available in different sizes.

  1. or what happens when your elderly dog wants to drag its bum on the ground for a good scratch?

I suspect not a good thing, maybe it swings out of the way, hangs free for when they poo? Or maybe the poo pushes it out of the way? Which leaves you with dingle berries and a mess..

No matter if you have issues with your dog r cats ass hole you have more issues than this little dangle can ever solve.

    haaaa, yes.
well, see, i was thinking about a thread i saw online once, where a ton of US members were yelling merry hell about women hiding armpit hair – something we dont tend to be too stressed about in europe, i think?

so i was jokingly transferring this to the doggie’s rear parts here.

still, i cant imagine covering my pets derriere.
    it is his finest asset.

  8. I just hang one of those little tree-shaped air fresheners from my dog’s butt. Covers the poo hole AND makes it smell pine fresh!

  9. How funny is this?? I actually just convo’d the seller about these and she told me that dogs are aerodynamic therefore, the poop will pass w/out touching the but patch. I highly doubt it but if someone wants to wash/reuse it go for it!

  10. When I first saw this all I could think was that this was something to keep your pets from pooping.

Also – aerodynamic pets? That’s fantasticly a new one. And I agree – this is something I would not reuse – even if my dogs WERE small
